Yesterday evening my wife and I went to a restaurant near campus in Madison, WI (the Nitty Gritty, for those who are familiar). There was a tiny parking space that I had passed, so I stopped and backed up to park there. Unbeknownst to me, I had apparently attracted the attention of some college students across the street who were playing volleyball, undoubtedly of the "do you think he'll fit in that space?" variety. Thankfully, I didn't know I had an audience, or it may have taken a few tries to fit in the space, but I managed to do it on the first try. As I got out of the car, I was greeted with wild applause from the
VB players. What other car could you drive that would receive applause for your parking job?
