Hi,

Yes I am a BC member, live in Maple Ridge, BC. I thought it would be helpful as I do travel within the US, actually just returned from 3200 km jaunt to California and returning via the Oregon coast.

Anyone close to Vancouver? We're coming up from Seattle on August 14th to catch the train to Whistler and will be in Vancouver that afternoon. We're very interested to see what mileage we'll get on the highway as we are just on our 3rd tank so far.

Has anyone had problems with their car rolling even with the ebrake on? I just lost my little diesel yesterday.

Urkkle 2006 -rolled off the driveway during the night- and my driveway is relatively flat and hit a small post - the passenger side totally demolished - distance of roll was about 25 feet. but the ebrake was on! I went to the dealership but they wouldn't believe me - even after the RCMP had checked as we thought it could have been a theft. Anyways - I decided to spend way more money - and get a new 2008 - I now have the Limited Edition. But there is a loud high pitched wind noise when on the highway. Does anyone else have this problem? Also the new 2008 has a "park". And now I have to find a new name for the L.E.

Are congratulations for the new one in order?
As for the noise, check if the roof is securely attached (i.e. while closing the windows and slamming the door, to create a pressure boost within the car). It has happened to very few of us that the rood bonding was loose...

Thanks JPaul - Yes, I'm very happy with the new Smart - it's a "Snazzy Chiklet". And thank you for the info. Found a glich in the Cargo Door. - The window won't open. So back to the dealership in a couple of weeks. And this could be the reason for the wind noise.
