Canadian Passion mystery photo

OK, eh - take a look at this interior shot (from the smart Canada site). What are those two large things on either side of the interior light? Look like sunvisors except they don't match the ones on the U.S. cars.

Someone had mentioned other Smart specs outside the US don't have sun visors that swing to the side. This may be what we are looking at. Its not like they realy do any good on the sides anyway.

They're the same spec as UK sunvisors, hard plastic and don't swing to the side.

So the UK sunvisors are hard plastic. The cross-hatch pattern visible in the picture looked like netting. Are the sunvisors solid, just textured? Or is there some light transmission through plastic "netting?"

Now heated seats make so much more sense up in Canada. Folks in FL and TX who have heated seats, you are just wooses
