I got it today!!!

So, I have a story about Smart Center Buffalo that I'll post here when I write up all the details in order. Suffice it to say, my experience was NOT very good. I got a poorly trained sales guy who dropped the ball, and I had to do several times the work I should have.

But after all that, I love the car! I took a really long route home from Buffalo to Rochester along 104 on a beautiful day and enjoyed every minute of it.

First thing someone said to me about the car when I stopped at a McDonald's to use the rest room: "You know, uh, with a wheelbase that short, you shouldn't drive that car over 70." Gee, thanks, mister. I was really looking for your input. *sighs*

Funniest thing seen on the drive home: A couple kids giving the air horn signal at me as I drove by. I'm the opposite of a big rig! I honked anyway.

BrokenKid, Glad to hear ya got your car since he was a ship-mate with my Smartie, I have had mine for a few days and am having a blast driving it. I'm just scared I'll rack up a million miles before summer's end! I'm very glad I waited for my reserved car instead of picking up an orphan, It was a long hard wait but we got our cars!

I'll post pictures soon. It's such a fun car to drive! I'm just sad the poor thing is already getting rained on...

Don't badmouth Rock-chester! Where are you? The weather can't be much better! At least I got a chance to try out the smart in the rain. I haven't quite gotten used to the intermittent wipers yet. Ok, I haven't gotten used to them at all. But this weekend will be nice, and I'm planning a road trip in the car!
