Pittsburgh Smart Center Open

I'm very excited, I talked with the Pittsburgh Smart Center (opened 1/18/08) and they informed me that my 08 PURE is in transit and will arrive next week. Delivery may not be for two weeks due to dealership issues. Anyway, I’m very happy that I will be the first one in Pittsburgh with a smart car.

Also, I started a website two months ago with hopes of anyone within 50 to 100 miles of Pittsburgh joining in for information, friendship and the love of this beautiful micro car to finally come to the US. Hope you will visit and possibly meet sometime later this year.

I was at the Pittsburgh Smart Center Saturday morning and must have just missed you. Ben and Nichole said that maybe Monday they would have specific date of delivery for my PURE.

to rephrase, you'll be the first in PGH with an 08 Smart
I've been putt'n around the city with my 06 Pulse since September.

I will say I wasn't too impressed with the service dept as they weren't able to assist me for an oil change so i had to mess myself up to do it but it was fun!

I can't wait till there's a meet so I can get to know more folks as my wife and I are new to Pittsburgh from Toronto since May of last year.

I will be picking up my white/black PURE tomorrow, Thursday at the Pittsburgh Smart Car Center on Baum Blvd.

I have been receiving many new emails at info@PittsburghSmartCarClub.org and it is really getting exciting. People want to get together even if they don't have their smart car yet.

The 'Member Zone' (by the end of Feb) will have info on many events and meetings that will give us all a chance to finally meet face to face.
