I'm sure you could include those states if anyone wanted to drive that far....what the heck, right? You could still call it the Great Northeast Smart Fest 'er sumpin'.

I used to be NE Division (Wash. D.C. Region) but am now SE Div (Old Dominion Region). SCCA has been around for a long time and it has panned out well that the big Divisions are effective for coordination, and the smaller Regions a where the action really takes place. The Divisions are too big for anything other than governance; the Regions are where the members "play together." WDCR is much focused on club racing which I can no longer do; ODR is big into road rallying which I can do. If I go into training and become a "white suit," especially F&C, I will be welcomed in any division or region.

Some of us in here think that Maryland, Virginia, Delaware and DC should be under its own Group or sub-group called Mid-Atlantic Region.
Its a different geo-cultural region, we are not exactly North East or South.
I participated in a benefit road rally through the back roads of CT some years ago. Great time!. We went through some of the best backs areas of western CT - dirt roads, scenic, fun. Would be great to do a road rally with smarts. I didn't reserve until 1/2008 so I have a long wait.

I agree totally. I tried to find mid-atlantic and was confused where to go, finally found something that pointed me here.
New England is just six states: Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut.
If you mean the Northeast Region, then I would say add, as you pointed out, New York, New Jersey. I don't think Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia or Ohio would count.
