Alone in the Inland Empire

I just posted the below on the Sun Diego Chapter board. I feel like sharing it with the L. A. group as well. Perhaps there is some momentum to start an O. C. or I. E. sub-chapter. Please let me know your thoughts.

Here's the post:

"Hey there Sun Diegans! While I live in Corona/Riverside/Corona, I am in Fallbrook several times a month. It is my hometown and I still have family there.

We smarties in the Inland Empire are orphans between the proverbial rock and a hard place. Both L. A. and S. D. Chapters are too far away for regular meet-ups. I'm hoping that an Inland Empire chapter or group will get started. (perhaps as an affiliate of either chapter).

In the mean time, I'd love to be kept up to date on S. D. events, especially in North County One suggestion is the Sunrise Cafe in Bonsall on a Saturday morning. There's already an informal car show there every weekend and it might be cool to show up, in force, with our mini-muscle cars. The drive to that part of the county is spectacular this time of the year. Just a thought.

Again, please keep me posted on S. D. events and hopefully "charlie" and I will meet all of you at some point.

actually, the San Diego Chapter is not the thread you posted to. There are many, many pages of info and all around fun on the San Diego thread. Just check under the regional headings and you will find us there

I thought I posted on both SD and LA. It must be getting late! I'll re-post my message on the SD board. We really are and island out/up here in the IE. Everything except OC is a long drive and even that can be a nightmare on the 91. I love driving, not sitting in traffic. Thanks for the heads-up. Sparky
