Seems like So. Cal has more reservations than most places so we are still on the first numbers. Noticed in the N. Cal thread that they have a list of who got their car and who is waiting - seems like it might be a helpful thing to start here too! If you want, add yourself to the list: name - res # - status (called, delivered, waiting, etc.)

no news whatsoever. I did call Universal a couple weeks ago, just to keep in touch. Will call again next week as we are going on vacation, out of the county.

Will be having the kids checking the email should a notice come.

I'm hoping to come home to find I was contacted about SOMETHING, ANYTHING............. lol

1199 and still waiting for a 30 day call. Spoke to someone at smart and the rep said that it is still in production and guessing that I might get it around May or June. That's okay, it gives me a chance to save more for a downpayment.

Where is your dealer? I would assume Corona is assigned to Riverside.
For the LN crowd, looking over the fwy from CapoValley HS. There are no new smarts on the lot. Just an observation. Tic Toc, still looking forward to delivery.

When I spoke to the smart rep he states that based on my zip code, Riverside is my dealer. I also visited that dealership last week and spoke to a manager named Hans Schaller, who speaks with a robust German accent, (acquired in Munich but was born in New Joisy). He also adds that a smart car is Swatch, Mercedes, and Art combined, and was singing praises of its safety rating (4 out of 5 stars). I asked him about buying one now although I told him that I reserved 4/14, and his answer was that the cars at the lot are not for sale and that they are only delivering to people that made a reservation and confirmed like me. I dont know about the orphans if any though but since they are a car dealership, its all about what deal that makes a lot of $en$e for them.
