I got mine yesterday!!!! From smart center Jacksonville (Florida). The sales reps, Deniz and Alex, were great!!! Had a blast driving 355 miles home to Pensacola on Interstate 10.
ok this might have already been pointed out , but here i go . monday i called smart ask wht they knew , well for the first of many call then new somthing. the girl ask my zip code and then she knew my name form the zip only. well there are only 200 people that live in my zip and i bet im the only one to order one.yes small town in eastern nc on the trent river close to the beach. p.s no houses for sale and poor jobs!!!lol but i love it! my number is a 1239 i think configed 12/21/07 and dealer in cary nc called and gave me my vin and said 30 day or less till i get my bumle bee!! so get a smart sooner and use an address out in the sticks!!!!!what ya think????
I'm a 1200 in Dallas, my car is in "make ready" and I can pick it up Monday. (got the call yesterday) No 30 day warning, no 30-90 day email. I did get the VIN when they called about the pick-up date/time so I was able to get insurance set up.

YAAAAH - got my smart today My number is 1196 and I picked it up in Laguna Niguel, CA. It was EXACTLY one year from my reservation date.
Having lot of fun now - we played "how many ballerinas can fit in my smart" tonight.
