Has anyone changed panel order in LA

Has anyone changed thier order of the panels, I can't take the , as the Smart Employees call it, Rorange color. I sent an email to the dealer, but heard no response. I have to go through the Laguna store. I want the Silver Panels on the same car order . . .

Any insite?

Peace Out
Rob

The silver panels are painted. Maybe you might have to do the same with the red (or Rorange) ones.

Get over it, folks!

ANY reputable body shop can paint them any color you like.

Wraps are fairly cheap, too.

It's not worth waiting longer to get a different color.

JMO, of course...

Deal with the red

changing color may not add anymore time to Robvski's order, he should call smart and ask, fill in the profile so your thread is not full of advice that adds up to advice worth 0 cents. If the car is not manufactured you can change with minimal down time

It's just a color. I'm pretty sure the cars all drive the same no matter what the panels and that's the fun part.

Actually, I don't think you can see any of the colored parts when you are driving. Maybe a bit of fender in the side mirrors, but that's all.

I'd go there in person, see what color demo cars they have. Perhaps they will exchange the panels with a demo car for a few $$.

(That is if your car is on the way soon - if you just reserved recently you might try contacting Smart and seeing what they say about changing it in production and if it will delay the order.)

Even a delayed order is worth it if you do not like the red. Otherwise you will spend time and money fixing a brand new car that you did not like from the beginning. IMHO
