I do all insurance stuff through AIS, but am insured by Mercury, and am quite happy with them.

We got a lot of negative news when shopping for insurance for our Smart - Our previous carrier wanted to double our rate. Then we got a quote from GEICO - We had 2 cars covered previously on the other carrier - GEICO covered all 3 (including Smart) for less than our previous insurer's rate for the 2. Apparently, Geckos are smart too!

State Farm Insurance covers my smart in Maryland for a very reasonable rate.

Exactly my experience. I get group rates with Travelers through my employer (Disney - 137,000 employees), so the rates have been great. Well that was until I went to add the Smart as my 3rd car. Called GEICO and they gave me the same exact coverage with the Smart for the same cost Travelers was giving me for 2 cars.
