Auto Club Speedway is having a race. It is formerly known as California Speedway. You know, the one that Roger Penske owns. It's this Saturday, July 12. Vara (Vintage Auto Racing Assoc.) is the one having the race. On their lunch time, you can go and take a track tour in your Smart Car. We will follow the pace car. It is not a race. There is no passing or racing. Just a nice cool tour of the race track. It costs $10 to get into the track and $20 to go on the tour in your Smart Car. I do this all the time. It is so much fun. It would be cool to have the Smart Cars that Roger Penske brought to this country on his race track on this weekend.

I will be at the track about 7am on 7-12-2008 and I will be north of the garages in the pits look for My friends car # 291 & 191 they first go out at 8am that day hope to see ya.

Not sure. I think Willow Springs is the next race. That's in Lancaster. Will keep you posted/

Dang...I didn't know that Cal Speedy charges an entrance fee now! The good old days....

I think it depends on event. We don't pay the track on autocross days but we pay our club.
