Saturday SoCal Rebellion meet March 21st... Who's interested???

I think everyone is bummed that there is no event worth going to anymore this weekend. I would really like all those that were planning on going to still get together since this is about a community with a common bond not any particular business... We could just meet at a Starbucks... a ride up Glendora Mt Road and breakfast... or some suggested a ride to palm springs! I think anything would still be fun. There is a catch though! I'm not a good planner at this kind of stuff so if anyone is a good organizer your welcome to help! Who would be interested in meeting still? I was thinking the same time of 9 or 10... do a little ride and then grab some breakfast or even lunch! What's everyone think?

Thanks
Andrew Dilwicius

I am with you & really disappointed about what has gone on with the smart events. I reside close to you. Glendora Mountain Road is good with lunch at Mt Baldy or we could cruise up Angeles Crest & have lunch at the restaurant at the top? Palm Springs is cool with us as well. We could also do a run to the State Poppy Reserve in Lancaster, taking the scenic route off the 5 frwy. & Lake Hughes Road. It would also be really neat if we could organize a Foothills Regional Smart Touring Group where we could have monthly events starting in the San Gabriel Valley Foothills area?

Thanks for responding bob... I like the idea of a Mt Run... especial since I unfortunately have to work later that day. I have never eaten up at any of those mt towns.. is there a place you recommend. Who else would be in for a fun little mt ride?

There is a restaurant on Mt. Baldy Drive just North of where Glendora Ridge Rd. intersects with Mt. Baldy. IE smarts are also having a smart coffee meet-up Sunday morning at a Starbuck's in Corona. We could tour down that way and maybe that will not interfer with your work schedule?

I think that would be a great idea. Let me know the details. Going up Mt. Baldy would be fun. That would be a challenge.

Saturday is out as the wife took a work offer for the afternoon. I may make a quick run over to the Peterson Museum which is near my wife's work location.

We will probably go to Smart Coffee in Corona on Sunday morning. I sure there will be plenty of discussion. Maybe enough people will be interested in a short tour towards Lake Matthews or Lake Perris or other destination that others would want to see?

Hope to see everyone on Sunday morning.

Bob,
Sounds like a great idea! I will put out an email to the group and see if anyone is interested in a drive and lunch after smartcoffee.

How about a stop at the March Air Force Base as suggested by SmartBob on the meetup?
