smart House Venice (CA)

The smart House in Venice will stay open an extra month I learned today during my visit. Now they will say around through February 2008.

They have three US spec smarts you can play with. Two passion coupes and a cabrio. Also, a tricked out yellow/silver smart on the roof you can view. And another that's always under wraps out back.

Test drives in the afternoons. They are closed Monday and Tuesday.

If you take delivery of your smart before they close, drive it on by so they can get a look at it!

The smart House is located on Abbot Kenny Blvd., in the heart of Venice.

Sharing is great, I love the new info as much as the next, but can't you do it in threads that are already OPEN.

There were 75 threads with posts within the past 24 hours and 25% are new threads about the same old junk. Lets put things in open threads and it will help out the search function as well.

Well I am a nobody with nothing to do all night. If I knew how to clean it up I certainly would help.

Because this is a California topic and the smart house is in California, we'll keep this going here.

Just visited the smart house again. They're setting up for another party tonight, this time for Leo DiCaprio's charity. I confirmed that they will be open through February.

Mary, who works there and is also a smart dealer trainer (and was with them for the Road Shows) was excited to learn my car will be here next week. She wants to hear my dealer experience with delivery. I'd imagine that Beverly Hills Mercedes has the white glove thing down pat by now.

She's been lurking on this forum, and is amused by some of the disinformation seen here. Its hard for her not to comment herself, but that's left up to the PR folks in Michigan. Let's just say she finds some stuff very interesting, and some just too funny for words. The net is important to smart, they are paying attention.

The house is still busy and will probably get a bump in traffic if there is some media attention for the grand openings next week.
