I was going to the mall and this Grey market smart was turning into the mall as I was exiting, He looked at me and was puzzled so, I flipped a U-turn and met him into the parking lot and he was just as pleased to see another owner than I was to see a grey market Smart! His plates read: "SmrtKar".
He really loved the new smart - he owned his for 2 years and he didn't have a single problem or negative thing to say about it. It was nice to meet another "smart" driver

I spotted a bumblebee cabrio at Park and 2nd Street in Belmont Shore Sunday at 12:30 p.m. That part of Long Beach is a perfect place for the smart. There are many narrow streets and very few free parking spaces, especially on the weekend. I look forward to parking in all those small spaces when my bumblebee arrives.

wow, i just posted to another thread that i haven't seen any yet in LB. i was even at 2nd & Park at about 1:30 on Sunday and i missed it! szmatrs, do you have yours yet? mine will show up any day to laguna niguel! there is one (baby blue color) I've seen near Redondo and 1st a couple months back, but i don't ever see it anymore. must've been an Euro model with US conversion.

I am waiting for the 90 day window notice. I expect my smart during the summer, and it will be delivered at smart center of Torrance. I will look for you on the roads.

I've had two sightings in the past two days. Yesterday afternoon on Santa Monica Bl and La Cienega I saw a black / black Passion coupe while this morning I saw a red / silver cabrio at San Vicente and Wilshire. Both looking sharp with happy drivers.

I have had my car for 2 weeks, drive on the 101, 210 and 118. I drive in am and pm traffic.........

I'M ALL ALONE..........WHERE ARE YOU GUYS????

I have not seen one other car and I just can't believe it.

Sightings are unique and therefore EXCITING! I feel like I'm all alone on the roads too, I drive the 101, the 5, and the 110 most often.

I was spotted once by a friend of mine, he was working and I was heading to a friends house in WEHO, got a text later saying hey nice smart car!

I've been keeping an eye out for one here in Mobile, to no avail. BUT!,
my brother and a friend were on I-10 a few days ago and spotted a car hauler with six on it heading west. Probably going between Jacksonville and maybe Dallas or Houston. He's a photographer, and didn't have a camera with him!
