Had an awsome time meeting everyone tonight - what a great group! And I think the Bob's crowd didn't know what hit 'em. Ready for the next meet - this time maybe closer to the Orange Curtain.

It was great to meet everyone. I felt like cruising through Bob's was like the parting of the seas....... everyone just stepped back and made room for us. They smiled, laughed and waved......it was really exhilarating.

Again, I'm not sure I'll make the parade due to the knee, but keep me in the link for any other plans.

Oh yeah, driving through Bobs was a blast. The most negative thing someone could come up with was "Those are nice cars, for driving in Italy, you know driving in Milan." Then after pondering a bit, he says, they are cute though.. HAHA!! Wow, he sure wishes he were "smart"

Hi everyone! I would like to put together a meet for all LA area smart owners. Let's figure out a good time and place ASAP and make it a huge turnout!

My personal opinion ( the most valuable to me ), Al&Eds is obviously extending the invite as a promotion for their business ( and that's OK) however, I think any and all commercial vendor's promoting their business (Direct advertising) should, as a prerequisite, become a supporting member.

ALL expenditures are: tax deductible, shows good faith and happy to pay the price of admission. One "Freebie" could be at the administrator's discretion on a case by case basis.

After I see Al&Ed have become a supporting vendor, I shall attend their meet, my expenses NOT being tax deductible.

Great to meet everyone again, many for the second time.

The Bob's buzz (for the benefit of those who weren't there) was a trip. We had been at another restaurant about five minutes away, and after dinner we decided to go over to this hot-rod car show as a group, drive through once, and then go our separate ways. So we made the mile-or-so trip in a single-file line (how many cars? 10? 12?), which was a pretty wild sight all by itself**a bicyclist going by when we were at one stop sign exclaimed "whoa!" so loud I could hear him from inside my car. A few minutes later, we turned into Bob's, and by chance I pulled up right behind the demo unit from Universal - he had NO IDEA we were going to be there. Since he'd unwittingly joined our parade as the leader, I followed him once around the parking lot with people gawking at this sudden invasion of microcars, and then we turned out, hit the street, and scattered. It just HAD to be mind-blowing.

So... can't wait to do it again. If the OC members want to come up with a location, we can come on down to your 'hood and scare people there.
