Tax break/incentive for CA?

Did a thorough search on Google and here. Came out nothing for CA.

Is anyone advocating for this? Will that be through CEC or DMV or both?

I think we deserve a little something! At least remove the stupid red curbs that exist between meters, or allow smart cars to park there. I can't count how many times I've past by one and said ooo if only it weren't red I can fit perfectly there. They should paint it with stripes or something and have it only for smarts, or for future compatibility for any car the same size.
