1st Meet and Greet a BLAST!!!

Got to Pelican late, John H was waiting in the parking lot in his very custom merlot red/black cabriolet. Not long after, Micro Machine arrived and we answered questions form the curious while cleaning the insects off the cars. Mrs Micro won the Brewery donated prize and all sampled from the SCOA Goodies provided by the club (many thanks). Notsobadyathink had smartie trouble and the lil' bugger is at the dealer. By 12:15, we were starving so the Brewery staff escorted us to our table and we had a great lunch.

Great fish and chips and the IPA is the best I've had, anywhere!!

Sorry we missed some of the responders hope to see many more at the next meet and greet!!

Just wanted to say a great big thank you for organizing this get-together for us. Pleasant conversation amongst likeable people over good food and drink on a truly magical day on the Oregon beach. What more could you ask? Well, maybe a few more to join in on the fun. ;)

The sight-seeing run up the coast was fun and then back down to Lincoln City to the outlet mall, finishing up with an early diner at Kylo's before traveling back to the valley. What a great day.

And what a treat it was to see that other bumble bee smart headed north on 101 as we were headed south. Big smiles and waves all around. If you put three bumble bees together in one place does that qualify for a swarm? Bzzz!

It was too bad that "Susie 1382" had other responsibilities on Saturday but it was fun anyway to see her on the highway in the morning headed east while we were headed west and a double treat to see her in about the same place in the evening headed west as we were returning to the valley. More smiles and waves.

Sorry to hear about car troubles for "Notsobadyathink". Suze, is the little bugger okay? Nothing serious I hope.

Thanks for the well wishes, Rex. No word yet on my Engine Malfunction Indicator. Why can't they just call it "check engine" like everybody else? Could have avoided the panic that the word malfunction tends to bring! I'll call Bryce at scpdx when they open (about 1/2 hour).

What's next, Gang? Drive on the sand at Long Beach?
