Is anyone up for invading the little town of North Bend in August?
It's only 32 miles from downtown Seattle....
They have a pa-ra-ade...
And it's the 100th Anniversary of North Bend
Timo,
The Mt. Si thing sounds like it might be fun, and it's only an hour away, so we could certainly make it over for the day! Should we consider trying to get into the parade? How many would be interested in registering for that??? And don't forget the smartcenter Seattle Show 'N' Shine at the Top Foods in Redmond, WA on the 20th. of June!! Terri and I did the Mt. Hood Huckleberry Festival a number of years ago, and it was alright. Nothing to write home about! We camped overnight there, and that was 'kinda nice! Had our Goddaughter and her family join us!

Oh yeh, that's what I'm thinking... thinking of getting smarties and SMARTIES together
smart parader's #1 choice for hand-out treats!!!
Registration closes July 25 and I think we could get a small swarm of smarties to parade.
So.......Timo, if you'd like to start a thread with a sign-up page, we can see how many folks would be interested and go from there. I can be the liaison with Tina on getting us all registered and all the specifics if you'd like. Perhaps we should also consider someplace where we can all have lunch together after the parade, unless everyone just wants to take their chances with the food vendors on the street at the festival. Anyway.....it sounds like it would be a lot of fun, especially if we can get a LOT of smarties to show up. It's a good central location for us Washington folks (sort of)! We only had 7 cars in the Bellingham parade, but we had a BLAST!!! We staggered the cars on the route and even did a couple of routines with our cars. TOTALLY GOOD TIMES!!!
