I'm always up for a meet, but I think that from now through the holidays will probably be too busy. I think after the holidays would be great! :>) The last meet that I went to was in eastern WA (Prosser), and the last one that I'd planned on attending was McMinnville, OR, so something close to home would be good. Preferably on a Saturday, since my work week is Sun-Thurs! :>)

For me, anytime after the weekend of 2 January would be great. I have Thanksgiving, Christmas, my God-Daughter's wedding (Dec. 27th.) and then the 2nd. is my wedding anniversary, so after I'm finished celebrating all those, I'll be ready for a break! A get-together would be a good excuse to break away!

how many cars do you think we could get together... I went on a "SMART Rally" when I lived in Italy. Met at the dealership, drove through Asiago, and had a great dinner in a restaurant. My wife and I were the only Americans there, I I ended up singing John Denver songs for the group... it was a good, pre 9/11 time!!!

There were 15 or 16 cars at that one, and we really had a nice time. Did the drive around Mercer Island & then had a picnic in a park afterwards. My first event, and my wife and I had a great time, and got to meet a lot of nice people. There was another meet at the Red Hook Brewery, but I wasn't able to make that one. This time of year, it's hard to know how many might be interested. Once it's posted, you'll get an idea pretty quick whether folks are interested or not by the number of replys in the first day or two! :>) If you only get 1 or 2 replys in a few days, then there's not a lot of interest, but even if there's only a few folks that show, at least you get to make some new friends with something in common! :>) BTW, I never made it to Italy, but we spent 3 yrs. in Germany & fell in love with the place. I'd go back in a heartbeat. That was pre-smarts, though...... 1989-92! My wife works with a lady GI doc that goes to Paris every year for a getaway, and she says there are smartcars EVERYWHERE!! :>)
