Area 451 Cruise Control with Free Install

Hello Everyone...

I am Kyle Brehm the Wholesale Manager at the Southcenter Car Toys in Tukwila, Wa.

We have been selling and installing the Area 451 Cruise units for about a week now, and I would like to clarify the "Warranty" issue...

No, simply installing one of these units does not void your vehicles warranty.

However, if the unit/or the installation causes a failure to another component of the car, the manufacturer's warranty is void on the failed part.

We are able to guarantee our work for as long as you own your car, so we will take over where the manufacture warranty is void in the event there is problem with our installation.

half of it is about a dealer GM who told someone that installing a CC unit voids the warranty. half this post is about an A-hole dealership. i'm just giving my experience with a local dealer and the entire General Motors corporation.

what does ANY DEALERSHIP have to do with the installation of a CC unit in a privately owned smart?

If you had read these posts, you'd realize we were talking about a cruise control and not a catalytic converter.

Kyle, that's great that you're extending the Car Toys service and backing to customers getting this product through your store. There is a real value there that I think customers will appreciate and I think it is fantastic that I have a solid skilled and experienced group to point customers to who aren't comfortable installing on their own. And as many of the posts throughout this forum and others show... perhaps the installation really is beyond typical DIY skill sets.

how much are these babies. I'm in Cali, so I'd have to do it myself or fly you out. I am sure you could keep busy down here!

The price is around US$480 (it fluctuates daily with the exchange rates) for the product itself.
