Joyce Daze 2008.....Joyce, WA

Joyce, WA is having Joyce Daze this year on Saturday, 2 Aug 2008. I realize it's the same weekend as the smart track event up in B.C. However, my wife and I will be attending Joyce Daze, and I wanted to see how many other folks not attending the track event might want to attend Joyce Daze. Here is the link for Joyce Daze. Last year, there were a number of folks who attended this small town festival in their smarties, which were decorated with balloons. Can't remember if they were in the parade or not. Smartie Yank & Gentrification were there last year, and had a GREAT time. This year Gentrification will be at the B.C. Track event.......Smartie Yank is undecided, and may have to be out-of-town that weekend. He would also like to see how many people are interested in attending this years event. WOW!! I've had some a major response to this thread (NOT!!!) that I've decided that I'm going to take my camper van instead, and leave my smart e at home!!!

bigcritter, enjoy your outing to Joyce... If there are only a few smarties present, then that makes them all the more special! Actually, I had to look up where Joyce is located, though I grew up in Kitsap Co and have been out that way camping many times as a youth. I've probably even been through Joyce before, as Crescent Beach sounds familiar, and Clallam Bay. I won't be there, though, and won't even have a smart until the following week.
