Monroe, WA to Leavenworth, WA Run / Rally

The SeaSmart group, on the smartusainsider website, is planning a run/rally on 2 May 2009. I just learned about this today, and wanted to let everyone else know. They're planning on leaving from the Safeway parking lot in Monroe around 8:00-8:30 am, driving over to Leavenworth for lunch somewhere, and then heading back home that afternoon sometime. I've been checking back on the other forum, but haven't seen any updates yet! Hope you guys can make it! It'll be good to see you again! I'll post any updates here as soon as I know!

I the Leavenworth meet also on the other forum. We're seriously thinking about it. We traded in our red(orange)/silver Passion for a 2009 blue/silver carbriolet. I have a bunch of e-mail addresses from the Red Hook meet that I'll send the info to as i haven't seen several of them post in quite awhile.

We drove our Passion from Bellevue to Leavenworth last September. Only 1 car passed us on the last part of the climb to Stevens Pass. We had to go into 4th gear. We averaged 48mpg for the trip. We can back across Snoqualmie Pass.

Belleveu1......Thanks!! It would be really nice to get as many folks as we can interested in this. I think it'll be a nice trip! Congrats on the new car! Don't forget to update your "stats!" Still showing "Phat Red" for you!! Hope you can make the run. I'm really looking forward to it. I'm also planning on doing the one the 21st. of March from smartcenter Portland to Multnomah Falls, with lunch at Edgefield McMenamins in Troutdate!! Good people......good times!!!

It'll be fun Marty. I hope I will make it over for the start from the other side (Monroe) but I'm definitely planning on a minimum of a L'worth rendezvous.

Good Timo! I think we're going to stay overnight in Leavenworth! And depending on the start time in Monroe, we may end up staying overnight nearby to be able to make it if it's really early! BTW, I forgot to post the link to the RSVP page!! DUHH! Here it is:

For those who are interested in attending, the Monroe to Leavenworth Run is still being planned for the 2nd. of May. The plan is to depart the Safeway store at 19651 State Route 2, and head over to Leavenworth via SR 2. We will be meeting up at the Safeway at 08:00 am, and departing at 08:30 am. Plans are to have lunch at Gustav's in Leavenworth around Noon, and heading back towards Monroe around 2:30-3:00 pm. However, Terri and I will be staying overnight at Mrs. Anderson's Boarding House.
