It looks to be a beautiful day for a drive to Bickleton and the Klickitat River gorge. Blue sky, 54 degrees and light wind to 6 mph. Let the Fun begin.

It WAS a great day.

The weather was great-- gorgeous in the Gorge. At Maryhill Winery (very nice place with a great view BTW), the Mountain was out and glorious, the River was smooth as glass and so still, not even a breeze! Sunshine and blue skies abound. The Bluebird Inn was fun, lunch was good. What a great drive!

We will have to do this again in the spring/summer and do the Horse Heaven Hill wineries! We did stop at McKinley Springs Winery on the way home, very nice.

I won't have any pictures to post tonight, just got back into town, but stay tuned-- Suze and Hedders are sure to have theirs up first. I'll prolly have mine up tomorrow.

My round trip mileage was 244.8. Two winerys, a really old tavern, indians, ugly fish, twisty road. It was a good day in the Evergreen State. Enjoy the pictures.
