Beaverton! I've reserved - 1612, have a deposit on a used one in McMinnville, and went down to the Smart Center yesterday to grovel for an orphan.

Only a matter of time before I'm an owner.

jaciinsf - I keep prayin' for you to get your car. Keep in e-mail contact with Massimo. Try not to be too specific about what you want other than those things you have on the "Must Have This on My Car" list and that will make getting an Orphan much easier. Make sure the dealership knows what is on that list, e-mail it to them. What color and what year is the car in McMinnville? I thought I remembered from another post you having said it was a 450.

Independence! Have a blue/black/comfort one on reserve. #1317. Called Portland and they know nothing yet.

I am an owner, I have another reserved and I am an enthusiast!

I'm in Beaverton also. I picked up my silver/silver coupe orphan on Feb 4th and I've got a little yellow/black cabrio on reserve (#1347). When I get the cab, I will prolly have to sell my silver coupe.

I can't see keeping them both.

jaciinsf, I sure hope you get one soon! I commute from north beaverton to east Portland everyday and I seem to be the only smart out there. I sure would like to see you on the road. Maybe even race you up Sylvan hill during rush hour?!? Oh, fun!

Is this the one? Cars For Sale: Car Details - AutoTrader.com

The 2008's are 451's.

You can go online to smart.com and configure that exact car to get a price comparison for a new one with identical options.

Hello again from John in Clackamas! My cabrio got custom paint and black wheels with bright rims so it would stick out if you see it. Been having fun with the car and I'll have the last of the extras taken care of in a week or two. Whee! I'll be meeting some more of you down in Pacific City on the 21st.

Too much money for the Passion coupe. Mine cost ~$17,800 and was loaded with dealer add-ons like lojac, clearbra and enviro-guard paint protection ($2,000)!! The add says it has cruise control? I would verify that, as it would be a non-standard upgrade done outside smart, unless it was originally Canadian.
