THE FESTIVAL AT MT. SI GRAND PARADE
NORTH BEND, WA
Saturday AUGUST 8th, 2009

Since the parade is already organized, basically all one needs to do is give a heads up and show up with a clean car.

Marty/bigcritter has already been in touch with the parade organizer so they are aware of our interest and they would love to have us. We have plenty of time to drum up interest.

Deadline for entries is July 25th. I was thinking that we put a placeholder entry for now with a ballpark number of smarties and adjust it as the time nears. I do not think that individual entries are required.

PNW smarties... Who is interested in participating in the parade?

Not sure about the name, but North Bend is celebrating its 100th year and the celebration is now called Festival at Mt Si... it's getting gentrified I suppose... you know the Seattle nabes creep out into the mountains and over the pass, right?

I have this one on the calendar already!!! Yes, I have person trained for weekends so I can smarty party now!!!

and you know, Retta might even be painted by then. So I guess she'll be clean. Looking forward to it gang!

Not too late. Registration deadline is the 25th, but we're in with a ballpark number, no individual entry needed.

If two smarties show up, that's fine (been there, done that parade). I'll still be in it. If around ten show up (more likely) than that's great! The more the merrier ya know!
