Sadly they wouldnt let us see how many of us we could fit inside
I am sure it had to do with insurance or something, blah blah blaa...hehe

What a fabulous album, John Mc - ooh, and you caught the trees o' fire so beautifully - and the park!

Thank you thank you for your presentation. Wowie.

John H is going to host mine later tonight...I hope it works.

Anything's got to be easier than the freebie trial offer I'm trying to use...

It was grand! Love the pics, John!

So the questions of the day....

1) How many smarts fit under one wing of the Spruce Goose?
>> More than the ~17 we had, plus one ugly Chinese electric smart wanna be. (But we don't judge)

2) How many smarts can fit on the Wheatland Ferry?
>> We may never know on account of the oddball insurance restrictions!

3) What's the best route to Silver Falls and back?
>> Have Dunerunner (aka Dizzy) punch his gps and be glad smarts are so good at U-turns!

4) How grouchy does Hedders get when it's past beer:30?
>> Not too!

5) How many Susie's / Suze's does it take to get pictures off of a digital camera?
>> Apparently more than the two we had.

6) How soon will we all be youtube stars under the careful direction of Rex and his patient video camera?
>> Any day now!

7) How much did we miss Bigcritter?
>> BIG!

8) How happy were we to see old friends and make new ones?
>> unanswerable!

BTW - Timo and I ran into the owners of that mysterious black on black cabrio with temp plates that we saw parked downtown yesterday. They're locals and were having lunch at GVB today. (Dunerunner, you must have just missed them). Anyway, to Chris and Kelly with the new smart... Come On!

Pics!! Sorry we missed Chris and Kelly at Golden Valley Brewing Company!! Great Meet Suze!! Bigcritter, nicely done my friend; catch you next meet!! I'm glad you started this one!! I Had a great time even though the @!#%^$ GPS couldn't find it's way!! Met some very nice smart owners and hope everyone had fun. Thanks to Dan 'SmarTune' who came down to help us have more fun by sponsoring the meet...THANKS DAN!! And thanks to Angie at the Evergreen and everyone connected with the Aviation Museum for letting us set up in the lawn out front of the Spruce Goose and offering discount admission to everyone in the meet!! A special thanks to Roy "Dinky smart" who was our trailer, for keeping the leaders advised when the parade of smarts became broken!

Sunday

Always run in good company!! Thanks to everyone who participated!!

Duuuuuun - The Dunester - great pics -

(I bet our little smarties, plus all of our smarties in the U S of A, wouldn't take up more than a light load for the Flying Fortress, one of those B17s that a kindly and talkative Volunteers at the Museum flew as a young flying soldier.)

But, insurance be damned, they should have let the lot of us at lease *try* to fill up the Spruce Goose.

Hey now; 'Good company,' indeed - love the feathery red bling sported for the portrait. Class act.
