Just about couldn't of been further apart across the country and we had a Smart gathering at an airplane museum too! I have a feeling we were a little warmer at our meet.
US in Florida:
You guys up there:
Too cold for me up your way though we may end up there someday (wife wants it that way, not me)

Saturday 'Show & Shine' to spotlight Smart Cars
More than a dozen are expected at aviation and space museum

Although they won't take up many parking spaces - collectively, they could squeeze into two or three - more than a dozen Smart cars will be on display Saturday at the Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum.
The Pacific Northwest Chapter of Smart Car of America will host a "Show & Shine" event from 10 to 11:30 a.m. The public is welcome. Made by DaimlerChrysler's Mercedes Car Group, the tiny coupes have been for sale in the United States since January. The 1,800-pound, 106-inch long cars look small from the outside, almost as if the back half is missing. But they've made a big impression on their owners, who love them for their 40 mpg gas mileage and - yes - their comfort.
It was glorious, actual weather. sunkisses, and breezy breaths to loosen the changed leaves falling and pooling in autumn piles.
Bring on the pics, please please. What Museum, Where? We have a Spruce Goose, what's your pictoral story?
smarties have taken flight, in a way...a high way...
When it gets under 65 degrees, it is icy cold to me.
Here's our Florida thread that we were talking about. I had us parked away from the planes though. I'll get our thread updated with other pictures once I get with the photographers that covered it.
In this thread - where did the Street Rods come from? How did the Chinese Smart wanna be get mixed in with your group - inquiring minds want to know.
The little Chinese-made cutie is all electric. The owner was thrilled to hear about our meet, and joined right in.
smart has an EV, and with the right leadership, could come to the US. This gentleman imported his. Unlimited mileage - no fuel - he smiled proudly.
And, we were proud to have his participation and enthusiasm for one of the 'little' delights in life.
While the Chinese car is not the engineering marvel of the smart, it does have what we lack - a rechargeable battery for motation.
Can't wait to see your pics.
THAT'S WHAT I WANT TO HEAR! He shared your enthusiasm and that is ALL that counts! I think it is great he showed, and anyone who scoffed at him saying what I said, "Smart wanna-be" in a derogatory way - "Shame on you!".
I added a link over on the Florida thread to the newspaper article though they made no mention of the Smarts though I could have made it happen, I'm laying low after this event as I think I'm not going to be a favorite of the local car community after this event - long story. .
Well, Foo on them, I say. You just come on out to our chillywilly Pacific Northwest, we'll get you some heated seats, and we'll show you the ~love~ you deserve.

Not a fav? Ptui. Their loss, long story or no.
I'd rather be there than here, myself. Western Oregon is my favorite place on Earth. Of course, I haven't seen the whole planet, yet. Save a place for me!
