The fella with the Chinese electric car was a local McMinnvillian that read about our meet in his local paper. I was the one who greeted him when he showed up. I recognized it as what it was, but before I could say anything he told me it was not a Smart. I told him that did not matter, if he wanted to join us he was more than welcome. He did. I think he had a good time, and he will probably have a Smart future. The Smart gatherings that I have been involved with we have not tryed to be a part of another groups function. We just make our own fun. No trophys-limited organization, Smart comraderie. I did not come the furthest and I was a 500 mile round trip, with out the mileage from the gps tour. A bunch of folks traveled a lot of miles to make it work.

Miles and miles of smiles, Hedders, so many miles of smiles.

YES! Inclusion. smart fusion.

You nailed it, brother smart.

I see a Halloween smartCostume Party next year...some more central place...where is the Center of Oregon?

My Dad loved the goodies in the packet - especially the map - ooooh, he loves maps. And wine. And maps of wineries.

And, how I do love my dime on pin, you rascally smartism.

Well we drove in from Sammamish WA. About 220 miles.
315 miles driving home the coastal route.
Went through Seaside, Long Beach, then back inland Via Olympia and on to Sammamish.

We averaged 55.6 MPG for the last tank of the trip.

I love my Smart 450

Thank you all for putting on a great event.

I will try to put my photos up tomorrow.

Google says Evergreen is 251 mi one-way door-to-door. But my nav unit sent me to Beaver Town for an overnight stop, putting me in at 262 mi one-way, not counting any wrong ways, back-tracks or dead ends.

Had a great time, all.

SmartieUSA - Bob & Arlie, Sammamish was just a lake, slough, and park when I lived there almost 50 years ago. Microsoft was a dairy and Redmond just a sleepy little town. Glad you guys made the trip!
