Portland Spring Run to Multnomah Falls

It's time to start planning our spring smart run from Portland to Multnomah Falls with lunch after. Multnomah Falls Lodge

This is an easy day trip for Portland metro smarts (36 miles one way) and of course everybody is welcome.

SCPDX is helping out with this one. We can meet at smart center (Kate will make coffee ) and then drive to the falls for a photo op.

Afterward, we can drive 16 miles to Troutdale for lunch at McMenamins Edgefield Inn. Edgefield Homepage brought to you by McMenamins

As soon as we settle on a date, I'll work with scpdx to help get the word out to local smart owners who may not be lucky enough to visit scoa. When we get a final count for lunch, I'll work with McMenamins, too.

In the meantime, we need opinions on the best Saturday for this event. Please use the poll and post your comments here.

Thanks -

Suze

Well, Jetfuel, you know we'd love to have you. So, just put the pedal to the metal and come on out. But let us know which weekend works.

Multnomah Falls Rally

SUZE.... I think any Saturday would be fine for me except Feb. 21st. (cataract surgery on the 19th. :>(........, or the 7th. or 14th. of March (HAM radio operator test on the 7th, & probably heading to Vancouver, B.C. the weekend of the 14th. for my birthday). Other than that, I think just about any other Saturday works for me!! :>) I didn't even realize that there was a McMenamin's in Troutdale!

I lived in Hillsdale - went to Wilson HS. I'm going to have to start pedaling real fast to make it to Multnomah Falls!

been there, done that, bought the postcards...

I had a one-car parade last May when I picked up the fortimobile, had lunch at a McMenamins not far from scPDX (thanks to Google), and stopped at MF for a photo op on the road home.

I don't have any input for dates. Whenever it is decided, if I can attend I will.

SCP - We will be there

Any of these dates will work for us.

Who would you like to attend from SCP?! Hey Suze, maybe you can put together one of those poll things and I will send the winner from SCP.

Suze,

While Bon and I will not be able to attend, strongly suggest you consider taking the Old Road -- Historic Columbia River Highway, past Vista House/Crown Point back to Troutdale. A beautiful drive that will take you past five waterfalls that you can view from the comfort of your Smart. Enjoy...Jerry
