The poll is open for another 2-1/2 weeks. So far we have 5 votes and it's split pretty well. Based on the comments it seems most people can make most dates (?).

I think I should have asked "Which date(s) can you NOT come".

So if there are dates you cannot make, post here. (Like Dunerunner did)

Thanks!

I think a better poll would be one where multiple selections are allowed by any one person.

There are less than 2 weeks left to vote and then a date will be set. So, if you have a preference, speak up now.

This is going to be a great event. It will be an easy day trip for Portland locals and I've got a feeling some people will want to make a weekend of it.

For anybody who has never been able to attend a smart car event, this is the golden opportunity. You will not believe how much fun our little smarts are when gathered in numbers!

Smarts gathered in numbers? Sounds like fun. Any date works for Me! I'll just skip out of work, or whatever?

This should make for a great photo moment. Does anyone know if there is a vantage point where one could get a shot of the smarts on the old bridge and the falls and still see the smart cars?

I know you can shoot it from below but don't know if there is anywhere to set up where you look down on the bridge road surface except from a helicopter!!

And...Is anyone going to try to do a brewery tour at Full Sail in Hood River after the drive?

Doesn't lunch follow back in Troutdale or Gresham at a McM's? Full Sail is the opposite direction...

Duner, you HAVE to get that nav unit replaced.

The only bridge I recall at Multnomah Falls is the pedestrian bridge that's part of the trail going up. Are you thinking of a different set of falls for the "old bridge?"

I haven't been to the falls except on the drive by on the way to Prosser last year since I was a kid in the early 60's. At that time, you could drive the bridge. Things change. Any ideas for a photo shoot?

I will sacrifice the McM lunch to do a Brew tour at Full Sail and lunch at White cap Brew pub or a brewery tour at Big Horse Brewing and lunch at Horse Feathers Brew Pub in Hood River.

I like the way you think... independent, but I like it. Don't know what your plan is for after the Falls, are you heading East?

The drive from smart center to the Falls, to the brewery, to Edgefield, throw in an hour or so each place and you're looking at 118 mi. and about 5-6 hours. Still a pretty short day.
