Saw another Smart on the Road today! (PNW) - Page 11

Today, while stopped in traffic south bound on NW 185th in Hillsboro, I heard this sustained honk from a an obviously small car. It wasn't behind me (huge truck), so I was watching the NB traffic pass me and then finally in my side mirror I see it. RED smartie!

I waved out my window, but they were so far by then I don't know if the saw my acknowledgment! Hope he/she didn't think I was a snoot!

This is the first time where another smart was trying to get my attention instead of the other way around.

And also the first one I've seen in weeks.

Garlic Jim's on Sunnyside Rd has a Smartie for their Advertising...It's always very cool to drive by and see it sitting there smiling ;-)

Two miles from my front door and I've missed their Smart all this time?! Maybe I need to rethink this Bellagio's Pizza thing. I'll pay more attention driving by Garlic Jim's!!

I dunno - you can't really beat Bellagio's. Who cares if they deliver in an old Kia or a Focus?

Finally caught up to the bumblebee in my 'hood the other day. I was stopped at SE 35th and Alder and they drove right in front of me toward Belmont, then pulled over so we could chat. They'd only had the car for half the time we had, and they'd already passed us in mileage by a couple thousand clicks.

Sort of a mini-smart car rally right there. I forgot to check to see if it was the bee with the next sequence in license plate numbers...

Didn't see this one myself but I thought it worthy of note: my parents were driving in from Gresham yesterday and saw a red/black at the corner of SE 122nd & Stark.

In a used car lot.

btw - I saw a yellow/ black yesterday on Burnside at 47th - just outside my office. It came by so fast, I hardly had time to wave - he didn't see me. Might be the one darrelplant sees around.

just saw red and black one on E Burnside around 54th - 55th. about 12:15 today. The guy didn't return my wave.

Could be because I was on foot.

They sure are scarce around the Salem area. Saw a Blue/Black Leather Passion at the Home Depot near the Salem Parkway today. Just like the one I ordered. DROOL!!!!
DDE keeps moving up a day each day. Now shows starting Oct 11, 2008. Maybe soon!
