Didn't end up making it (after years of tradition). I busted up my knee lifting a table saw off the back of a truck two weeks ago, and since most of our Astoria entertainment consists of walking around town looking at stuff, we figured we'd wait until I got off crutches (although I'm worried that might put it off until after the Bowpicker's closed for the season).
Changing weather is also gonna make me miss the sunshine and the open roof of the cabrio, because the crutches kind of get in someone's face with two in the car unless you can stick them out the top in back.
silver/black cab today 4:50 PM (don't tell -- I left work early) on I-84 east bound going onto I-405/I-5 north bound. He/she was in right lane, I was in the left. I crossed over to follow, but he/she was going North toward the Fremont bridge or Vancouver or wherever and I needed to go west. He/she never saw me.
Also, Darrell - I drove by that acura lot at lunch and saw the red/black one. It wasn't all that.

$22K and it's not even a cabrio. I used the configurator to price out a 2009 model with roughly the same options (even throwing in the leather seats because the pictures look like leather) and it came out about $15,500.
40% markup over list price for a car with 5K miles on it! I put my top down at you, sir!
Saw a brand new (no plates, yet)Red/Black Cabrio yesterday around 5:00 on NW Cornell, right after it changes from NW Lovejoy (West Hills). It was parked in front of a house just like it belonged there.
This is my alternate commute route, so maybe I'll see it again.
Saw a shiny Passion bumble bee w/ scSEA license frame in north Richland during morning commute. On Stevens Dr heading north between Spengler and Battelle Blvd, middle lane.
Hope I didn't scare you as I worked all three lanes as I was still trying to cover another 10 miles to work
Tim, that sounds like Shannon that works for an eng. firm that is located in the Port office building. I met her when I was picking up goody bags for the Prosser meet. She knows about the forum, but I don't know if she is on it. You gonna have bfast with us on Friday?
just Fred

No b'fast with you guys this Friday, perhaps next time in two weeks. Keck is back from EYW, so will he share the stories he has to tell...
Saw a silver/silver cabrio this morning on my way to work: 7:50, attempting to enter traffic on Liberty St. SE, Salem, OR. I was changing lanes and just caught a glimpse. Didn't have a chance to waive - sorry.
