OK. Quite the morning for smartspotting.

First off, just a block and a half from my house, I follow the bumblebee that lives around the corner until it pulls into its garage. I can see it's got its new custom plate since I last talked to the owners.

Half an hour later, as I'm pulling into the parking garage complex at Kaiser Sunnyside, there's a white and black hardtop just inside the entrance. Then, two rows over, is a practical twin to my own red and black cabrio, except they've got the black interior.

I LOVE this pic, Darrel! I wish I had one of those old polaroid cameras so I could leave a picture when I park next to another smart. Well, it only happened once, so it would be kind of a waste of a polaroid camera. ha ha BTW - yours is much prettier.

Weird, saw four smarts while driving around Bainbridge Island and Poulsbo yesterday. Most I've seen in one day.

Garage
Go Fig

We picked ours up on friday. I drove from the dealer to my wifes office 90 miles away. I dropped off the car so she could drive it home. Over the past months we have only had 4 sighting in Madison. As my wife was driving her new bee out of the parking lot for the first time, low and behold, a red and black Smart drives by. What are the odds.

Drove over to Vancouver to my friend Nathan's house last night. He's a two-wheel enthusiast, and he just bought a Dutch Bakfiets cargo bikes to wheel his one-year-old around in, but he also think's the smart's kind of cool (as does his wife), and he thought it would be cool to do a sort of photo shoot comparing the two (he's also into cameras). The Bakfiets is as long as the car is, and it can legally carry more passengers (downside is the bike alone is about 100 lbs.)!

We wheeled over to the parking lot of a medical center a block from his house to take the photos. As I pulled in, there was another smart already in the lot! Blue and black with a cute customized Oregon license. Totally unexpected.

What is it with health care centers and smart cars?

If you leave it on the internet, you don't need film! Plus, Polaroid isn't even making instant film any more.

This was just such a wacky coincidence. Sort of makes you wonder how we managed to miss each other at the Brain Bus. Maybe I should have arranged to meet up in some doctor's parking lot...

Yesterday was a 3-smart day for me!

The first one was on NW 23 - almost exactly where I saw my first one on Feb 13, the day I started this thread. Silver/black passion parked on NW 23rd.

Next, I took the long road home and saw a blue/silver passion parked on a driveway in the SW Hills.

Then, closer to home while waiting to turn on NW 158th to get gas, a sliver/black zipped past me almost before I saw it. No plates yest, so must be a new one.

Wuu-Huu -- Can't wait till Saturday when I expect to see about ~18 of them.

PS - admin, mods- can we get more smart smileys please? I want white, black, silver and some with silver cells. kaythnxbye.
