Saw another Smart on the Road today! (PNW)

Saw 4 other smarts on Nantucket Island this last weekend...big smiles all around

At the risk of being told to go home... someone said that they saw a white/black at NEOUCOM yesterday... If you know where that is... then you may know WHO it was... Let me know...

I saw my first other smart while driving yesterday. It was a blue/silver passion near Southcenter. (Which, since that's where smartCenter Seattle is located, isn't surprising.)

Sadly I didn't see it soon enough to give the smart salute. :-(

Just saw a yellow & black smart on my way home from work! It was turning left from Highlands Drive onto Black Nugget Road... I beeped as I drove past 'em on Highlands.

I experienced my first sighting today. What a happy event! About 5:00 in downtown Florence (OR). It was a black/black. We passed by each other going in different directions. I think we were both looking for a parking spot, I didn't see the smartie until the last minute but I starting waving like crazy. I don't think he saw me though. A while later, I found it parked on the street, so I pulled up next to it and took a picture of both cars. I don't know where the owner was and I didn't have anything to write with, so I had to let the moment go. The car had British Columbia plates. With any luck, he'll read this and recognize himself!

About 10 minutes later I saw another smartie, but this one must have been a 450, because it was dark red and black. (not the Tomato Soup red we've all come to love). He was driving east on Science Park and gave me a big wave with his arm stretched way out the window.

I'd bet a dollar to a donut that you saw "Smartie Yank" (Dan & Irene). They are out of Port Angeles, have two 450s, the one you saw is a diesel.

I saw a Blue/Silver going south on I5 today around Oympia. I was in a white/black.

I keep seeing one parked outside my house

But then I see it's twin on I-5 bridge southbound into Portland every few days blue/silver in the morning traffic. My buddy has seen him up in the Orchards area of Vancouver.

I saw my first non-Meaux61 sighting today and I was disappointed! I was in a nearby college town and a guy driving a blue and black one was in oncoming traffic. I honked and waved.....and the jerk didn't even smile.

I was sorely disappointed.

On Sunday, I drove to Irvine and parked next to one at "The Great Indoors" parking lot. Didn't get to meet the owner, but enjoyed parking side-by-side with s brotha'.
