Loose organization and occasional events sounds reasonable to me. Area is just too large for driving to regular meetings I think. I'm in BMW CCA Puget Sound Region, with meetings and events centered around Seattle area... so it's nearly always a 2 hour drive over the Pass for me, so I'm not very active. Another chapter in Spokane, 3 hrs east. And my M3 is better for travel, to be honest, than my Smart. Smart gatherings in Vancouver or Eugene, for instance, would be very special events! I was lucky this past time that Prosser is only an hour down the valley. Kudos to those who came from afar and stayed over; probably my turn next time!
