smart Ferry to Bainbridge Island?

The Big Star Diner on Bainbridge Island (which was featured on a Food Network show, "Diners, Drive Inns and Dives") is now open under new management.

I have read both good and bad reviews, but I think it would be worth the trip to get 4, 5 7, 10, whatever smarts together and make the trip. Push the ferry dudes for two for one pricing, ride over, eat, wander around and come back. Whatever the food is really like, I think it would be a worth the trip. Maybe leave Seattle about 12 or 1 on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon?

Loved visiting Bainbridge. Too bad I'm not in WA. This would be a cool trip. Hope you can put it together.

If it's on a Saturday, it might be do-able for me.....depending on the date. It'd be a long drive up from Olympia, so..............yehhhhh......I'd be there as long as I don't have anything planned. Sundays are my Mondays!! :>(

I'm interested but I'll skip the ferry, there is a bridge on my side. By the way I havn't been able to get a break on the ferry or the Narrows Bridge yet.

I was just visiting Seattle over the weekend and saw one of y'all get off the ferry at Bainbridge Friday night... the 7:10PM ferry - Blue with Silver.
