Someone put a note on my car!

It was a small post-it note and written on the top in very tiny letters, it said:


It's an itty-bitty note for an itty-bitty car. Tooooo Cute!

It made me laugh.


Has any body else gotten notes?

I heard that someone got a cup of some type of Starbucks coffee poured over their Passion Coupe.

Yes I too have had notes posted. "OMG where can I get one!" with telephone numbers...?

Took the advice of someone on this forum or somewhere. Now I post a one-page flyer on my dash with all the particulars. Sort of a smart FAQ. Seems to have worked. No more notes.

I keep a few spares in the glove box in case someone wants to talk smart and I need to take off, eh. Just apologize and hand them a flyer, "Sorry, wish I could talk. This'll answer most if not all your questions."

I'll send you a copy if you want it.

I have a smart and a '63 Airstream Bambi. They have three things in common -

1) They've both been displayed at the Museum of Modern Art
2) When anyone gets in either one, they invariably say "it's so much bigger on the inside than it is on the outside"
3) And I get notes left on both of them. They often say "it's so cute!" but with the smart they add, "where can I get one?" and with the Bambi, "do you want to sell it?"
