Things I learned from Lombard trip:

1. It was approximately 1500 miles from Lincoln City, OR and home again. Mountains, hills, freeways, old highways; extreme heat, cool sun, rain, and fog.
2. smartavans are a hoot. (Notsobadyathink, Susie_1382, John H, headed South to the City.)

3. sistersmarts learn John H can *fly* over BIG Mountains...he's a shifter.

4. The seats *do* recline, you just have to 'teach' them how. (Push, HARD.) Thanks, Larry.

5. smart cars are drivin' machines. Taking some of the twisty, hilly, potholey, foggy, highways and byways was some of the most fun and challenging driving I've ever experienced. Power, control, spirit, the smart's got it all. Wow. I *love* my tranny.

6. smarties are *very* nice people. Passionate and creative. Like Notsobad's Cruise Control:so fun.

7. I averaged 35.72 mpg.

8. I averaged 10.27 miles per dollar.

9. Gas is cheaper in Oregon than California.

10. My butt used to look like this: ) and now it looks like this: |. (It will pop back, I'm sure...)

11. Eucalyptus leaves make nice car smellies; great pitstop, Notsobad. (I put a few leaves into the canister at the bank drive-thru today- the teller said the'd like to visit San Francisco again, so I sent her that aroma, ahhh....)

12. San Francisco, my old home town, is as beautiful as ever.

Deepest gratitude, and enduring appreciation for all of the brave, committed, talented, and truly outstanding leadership for our event. And to sistersmart for a fulfilling adventure...Notsobadyathink?
