Picked up my Smart today! The Portland Or. dealership opened this morning. There were a few 1st day glitches, but Judy & I were treated wonderfully. I was told my car is their 1st delivery! The freeway drive home, during rush hour traffic, eliminated any concerns that we might feel uncomfortable around large trucks. We actually sit higher than most cars around us. In other words, the Smart is at home on freeways also. I love the paddle shift system! The automatic shifting seems a bit jumpy. Doubt I'll use it much. They recieved a huge shipment last weekend, so clear a small space in your garage if you are high on their list.
Congrats on your delivery. What was the last four digits of your reservation number? Mine's 1180 so I'm probably a month out unless someone with an earlier number doesn't want theirs and I made a good enough impression on Clint at the Portland store today. ;)
