Weird Cars

Is it just us or have any of you noticed that after owning a smart for a few days all other cars start to look weird?

No doubt-everything else seems to be engineered on a rediculously large scale.

I suspect I will crash my "minivan" soon-it has a front end and the rear goes on forever-it is for sale

That's funny Oregongirl. We had to rent a Prius for a day while our smart got some service. It's a very cool in it's engineering. Being hybrid and all that. But my wife also felt like she was driving a boat. I used to like them but aside from being hybrid . . . blaaaaaaaaaaah. And their gas mileage isn't much better then the smart. In fact, the same on the highway. Of course they weigh over 1000 pounds more then a smart.

OK, I've only had my orphan for a little over two weeks, and I still reach for the steering column out of habit when I go to turn off the car, but my other cars are a VW Golf and a Ford F350. Try going from parking the smallest car on the planet to parking a 350 crew cab long bed!! Holy cow! Love being able to whip into a parking spot!

After 2 months, now I wonder why other cars are so darned HUGE!!

I STILL regularly reach for the steering column to turn off the car, and after a long weekend away, my left foot reached for a clutch when starting!
HA!!
