1st "round town" sighting & frustration....

So, I won the bet me & my husband had for first "in the wild" sighting...'round the corner in Cocoa village Fl comes the yellow passion Convertible.

Talk w/the owner for a few minutes. He reserved in July, just like me, config'd in Feb-just like me, and said he "got the call" from Smart/Orlando about 2 weeks ago, "unexpectedly". I am not sure to believe him, but if it is true, why does my DDE say July 15-Oct 17? Why has he got his car in hand and I haven't had a peep from SmartCenter Orlando? Is he pushing some type of "clout" around to push ahead if an orphan comes in with his configuration?

So, I am a bit frustrated as well. My ego took a hit, hoping to be the 1st Smartie in my area, too....

It is possible that he was reluctant to volunteer the fact that he got an orphan.

have you visited your dealer, is your car on the lot? Most of the stores don't have the staff of commissioned sales folks to make your phone ring... Web site email interfaces are still not working in many cases how many months on a brand new system...
