I live in Gulf Breeze and also tried to form a chapter.
I have a 08 and will be back in the area this month.

NCC1701 - I never saw this post or I would of publicly replied besides the PM/email I sent. I would of made it to the parade if others would commit too. Guess it's too late now. This weekend I'll be swapping my panels for a Xmas theme as it seems the wife has entered one of my (our) cars in a tiny Xmas parade on base.

joenfaye - Welcome back! You've obviously been under a rock as we've been VERY active all along the Emerald Coast the few months. We've taken turns driving back and forth to try to even it out for some of the people who live a bit away from Gulf Breeze, Navarre, Ft.Walton. Since last April/May we've met as far west as Pensacola and as far east as Panama City and many many places in between.

We've met at quite a few car shows and had some extremely successful gatherings overall. A great group of people!

Next get-together will be in January. Location/date unnamed yet. Sandestin may be a good suggestion or maybe Pensacola? Who knows....

What color/model do you have? One of my students said there was an ORANGE (custom paint?) Smart parked next to my red Smart today. Wasn't yours was it? I haven't seen that car in my area yet, this was the first I've even heard of it. I know people have heard when they park next to my car I stumble out of my cave to greet them (cave = office).

We need to talk offline sometime for making a southeast get together. Tallahassee looks to be like a VERY good idea. I'll let you know why offline, call me up tomorrow if you still got my # and I'll tell you why. I spent a good portion of today looking/dreaming of a southeast get-together on April 4th.

This is the ONLY time my wife has ever done any car events with me. Been together almost 20 years and I've gone to shows all over the world and she's never ever went with me until we got the Smarts. For the most part, she still doesn't do the shows.

I don't know what your reason is for Tallahassee, but if you're talking about a regional get together (AL, FL, GA) it makes sense geographically.
April 4th? Right on the edge of being too late for me. Hard to be sure that far into the future, but if things work out I might be off on a dream by then.
