I've decided to register Bought the money order today and will have it in the mail tomorrow. I have vacation time tentatively approved for the week preceeding the event, so this would make a nifty conclusion to the week away from the job!

We're up to around 6-7 entered/preregistered so far - pretty much a shoe-in to get our own category from the get-go. I'm still working to try to see if we can get the spectator Smarts parked in an area adjacent to where the registered show cars are parked.

Oh man. Wish I was going to be there for it. I wouldn't have my grey market Smarts to show off but would be cool to see. I grew up in Destin, FL and will be in town for my ten-year high school reunion (go Vikings!) and am leaving late on the 22nd.

Thanks Nick - parking plan will be set up in a few hours. I'm working on a suggested plan right now and they be firming up soon.

Brian - sorry but I'm an Eagle - not a Viking and my reunion is this year too but not 10 years, a little more than that.

THANKS TO ALL WHO SHOWED! Pictures will be coming up once I get ahold of the photographers who took pictures at the show. I really wish I could of spent some more time with everyone chatting about Smarts.

We did a swap of NCC1701's horn - I swear that Bad Boy horn is LOUDER than my Nautilus FIAMM horn. We also swapped out alph1243's Secondary Air Flow Valve (think that is the name of it)

alpha1243 - took home 3rd place
#######- took home 2nd place (not sure of his SCOA handle and I don't want to let on his human name for the sake of privacy)
Bum-Bling-B (ME) - took home 1st place. The odds were stacked in my favor as I entered 3 Smarts that were in the class.

We were also parked in a very nice spot, plenty of room for the non showing Smarts to pull in. I wish more Northwest Florida Smarts could of made it as it was a nice time (what little I could enjoy of it with everyone as I got suckered in to being part of the car show staff ). Thank You Nicholas and NCC1701 for making the long drive over to hang out with your fellow Smarties west of you - we all enjoyed your company!
