Ok, I didn't see a Smart ANYWHERE in my area YET but maybe someone knows a MODERATOR that can make this a "STICKY" so we can have one ongoing continuous thread of Smart Sightings....... :smar tje.wt.zw:

MY FIRST SIGHTING IN THE WILD TODAY!! around 5:15PM - driving through the intersection of HWY 85 and College Blvd in Niceville (NW FL) heading north on HWY 85 going toward Crestview was a red/black Passion

I saw two recently. One was a yellow and black heading toward tampa over the bridge to St. Pete.

The other was a few blocks away from a house Im trying to buy in Seminole Heights parked in someones drive way. This time it was a yellow/silver.

Pretty neat.

I saw a cute little silver with black coming out of Bush Blvd in Sanford. A guy who was in the vehicle with me made a comment on how expensive they are and he would not get one for his wife. Needless to say, I had a response............Go Smarties! PS still waiting for VIN.

My daughter saw a blue one in Niceville (northwest FL) the other day - didn't mention who was driving (male or female). She of course had to call me to rub it in - as a joke, graphic artist friend made a photoshop picture for me of a convenience store with a parking lot full of Smarts.

I'm always the first kid on the block with the new toys so they try to rub it in.

My husband and I saw one at Publix this weekend in Navarre. Red and Black with beige interior. I spoke to the fellow smartie for a few minutes to exchange info. She lives in the subdivision right next to mine. There is another couple with a silver/silver cabrio that live on the street behind her. So that makes 3 smart (including mine bule/silver) in about a 1/2 mile from one another.

We are trying to get a Emerald Coast smart Club going. The goal would be to find other smart owners along the Florida panhandle and meet up on the weekends for some fun. I was minding my own business tonight enjoying top down driving in my red/black cabrio, stopped at a light and heard someone beeping their horn. Looked over and there was a silver/black hard top scooting through the intersection in front of me. That makes at least four in New Port Richey. Another person in my neighborhood has a silver/silver cabrio and I saw a red/black hardtop about a month ago.

I saw her this evening turning onto Green Acres road from Beal Pkwy. Gave her my Smart wave - head half way out the window waving my arm vigorously with a gigantic smile on my face. I was stopped at a light before you yell at me for driving unsafe! I was considering going to a car show this weekend in Ft.Walton (Fireman's benefit show? proceeds go to charity) - went to the Ranger Camp show last weekend for a few hours. Excellent public response and the proceeds went to the Fisher House. I'll shoot you an email.

Ive had 3 sightings. two are the same car I think. one was on the Florida turnpike in the opposite lane heading east as I was heading west( yellow and black bar , and yes there that easy to spot! ) the other one past right in front of my house. I thought I was dreaming, Later on that day not far from my house I saw it again parked. ( red with silver ) of course I have seen a few driving around the Dealerships. but that doesn't really count :/
