I've been waiting a looonnnggg time to make this post. It finally happened, today on my lunch break. At about 11:42 AM, as I was making a deposit at the TFCU ATM on Harrison Avenue, a Red Cabrio was headed south on Harrison. I don't think he saw me. I'd heard a number of other people say they'd seen a red one in town. But, this was a first for me!
Today I saw a blue with black powder coated wheels Passion Coupe driving west on HWY85 in front of Okaloosa-Walton Airport, I was going east in my red/black. Waved like a crazy person but the blond haired person driving never saw me. Most of the other Smarts in town I know who they are - this one I don't.
Also coming off I-10 heading south last week in Crestview - a Silver w/silver tridion 450 with Mississippi plates. My parents were in their white Passion Coupe and saw it
We have at least two here in Englewood area.( ONE YELLOW/ ONE BLACK) Saw one at a used car lot in Northern Sarasota last weekend.Ours should finally be here in Jan/Feb. Red/Black after a year wait.
Ok, I was passing through town today and had to stop at the grocery store as we were heading to the state park for a family outing with 2 Smarts in tow - my green and my parents in their white. The usual few people filed out of the store to check out the car and as I passed one kid he was talking with a ever so slight inkling like he has done a little research.
When I got to the register the kid noticed my shirt (I was wearing my club polo) and mentioned his neighbor had a green and black Smart. I politely asked if he was sure as they don't come in green and my should be the only green one in this part of the state as well as the south portion of our neighboring states. He said he knew and his neighbor's car was custom and also has leather seats with green piping! ARRRgghhhh! I thought I was the only one around. What I don't know is....what shade of green is it? Is the aqua one that was on eBay from the Charlotte dealer?

Did you notice a county, or was it a stylized plate as we have about 100 different choices to chose from. Save the Whales...Art.....Dolphins....Football....Colleges. ...Armed Forces ......Agriculture......Fishing.....Golfi ng and the list goes on and on.
I was crossing my fingers my KERMIT plate would be in the mail today but it wasn't. Supposed to take 90 days but last time I got a custom plate it took about a month and a half.

I did happen to notice about 40 Smarts today - -, I saw a truckload of them and went to the get-together at the Jacksonville dealership.
Today on North Beal Parkway in Ft. Walton Beach. Red w/silver tridion and black interior Passion bought from Birmingham Smart, I drove by and honked at around 4:30pm/5:00pm.
RUMORED!!! FROM NUMEROUS PEOPLE! BRIGHT ORANGE and Yellow Passion, a husband and wife team of Smart owners. You seem to be parking under my tree in the grass behind "Services". People are mistaking your cars for my cars as people have seen me come to work in 6 different colors of Smarts so far and I have them confused, now when they see a Smart they automatically think I own it. Who are you?
