Insurance in SFLA

i wanted to know what you guys are paying for insurance down in the south florida area. and if you could do it by age range.

Im 21 and have the smart on order but dont know how much the insurance will cost. thanks in advance

I am 52 (YIKES!!!!), male, clean driving record. I have State Farm (Broward County). My premium is about $1,000 a year, $1,000 deductable. Call your insurance agent and get a quote before you buy, if I may make a suggestion. And have fun when you get your smart ... it is a hoot to drive!

daaamn thats actually alot knowing that you have a 1000 dollar deductible. i cant wait till i get mine.. but i dont think i am willing to pay more than 150 a month for ins. hopefully i can get that with a 500 dollar deductible and my record isnt so clean lol thanks for the input

I don't have my smart yet but I did get a quote for insurance. I am over 50 with a very clean driving record. My collision dedutable is $500. The quote for 1 year is $500 for full coverage. I am with Amica Ins.

Im with Geico, 50 years old, male and clean driving record. Geico advised me that the insurance will be about $1400 a year. This is with a $1000.00 deductable. The also told me that if i didnt have a clean record they wouldnt insure the car. That was before the National Institute of Safety did their tests so perhaps it has gone down.....

I just did a quote with Geico and I was quoted at $1400/$2800 a year with a payment of $239 a month..
$500 deductible
$500 collision coverage

kinda sucks. I'm 19 with a clean record.

I have my insurance through GEICO with $500 DED, cost is $254.40 for a six month period.
