Sorry to hear this, but details?

My deepest sympathy in this tragedy.
But, I would really like to know more details?
Possibly a link to your source?

The media will in no doubt be all over that how unsafe our cars are now. They love to hype stuff up and embellish and fear monger. It's sad for the driver but I would like to know more.

So sad. It was inevitable, sooner or later it was going to happen.

Of course now we'll hear about how unsafe the cars are while hundreds of people are killed each day in auto accidents in other cars - they don't receive the spotlight.

I feel for the owner's family too as I'm sure they'll be badgered by people not thinking and saying rude things like, "You know, if they would of been in another car.......". Then of course the possibility of media attention as well.

We've been through this before, a few months ago with another crash.

IMHO, this quickly turns to morbid curiosity despite all the protestations of people saying they want to know more just for educational reasons. I would instead urge people interested in this sad crash "just for educational reasons" to spend as many hours as they want watching the IIHS videos or government videos or NCAP videos.

My humble 2 cents worth.

As tragic as it is, traffic fatalities are inevitable, regardless of the vehicles involved. Sadly, nearly 115 people in the US die each day in automobile accidents. Try to stay safe out there, everyone.

I don't want to be the moderator here, but how about we just let that be the end of this thread?

RIP
