While driving back down to Sarasota to Wilde Jaguar/Smart last week a rock hit my windshield and started a crack. When the very nice people at Safelite Auto Glass contacted Wilde to get a new windshield, they acted like they didn't even know what a Smart was! When they finally walked out onto their sales floor and saw what a Smart car looked like, they eventually figured out that they could order a windshield, but had no idea when it would come in. Plus they wanted $200 to deliver the windshield!!!
Safelite contacted Lokey Mercedes in Clearwater (since they are opening a Smart dealer soon) and they were able to get a new windshield in 3 days! I am very happy with the Lokey parts department and couldn't care less if I EVER make the drive to Sarasota again!!!
