Panama City and Eastern Panhandle

The Emerald Coast group has their own thing going on. They're defined as Pensacola to Destin, I believe. Well, that cuts out half the panhandle. Should be a Panama City centered group since PC is excluded from the only existing NW FL group. So, perhaps another group could be created with a range from East of Destin to the Big Bend?

I, for one, would be very interested in doing some get togethers in the region.

The Emerald Coast Smart Car Club started in Navarre and we figured Smart owners might want to drive over to join us from Pensacola to Destin. We certainly underestimated the excitement from Smart owners across the panhandle. We've had folks join our get togethers from Mobile to Tallahassee. In fact we've got 3 Club members from Tallahassee and one from Panama City Beach, so we're covering a lot more territory that originally envisioned.

Our next get together is in Ft. Walton Beach on Saturday, 23 Aug, in Liza Jackson Park at 6pm. You're more than welcomed to join us. Let me know if you're interested in meeting us.

Yes, we will schedule a Saturday morning get together for our September meeting and it will most likely be east of Ft Walton Beach rather than west. Several Club members have voiced this suggestion. If you want to e-mail me your contact info I'll be sure to copy you on the invitation.

There is a chance I'll be able to make the Liza Jackson Park get together. That is, depending on the future of Fay. As of this evening, it looks as though there's a fair chance 9/23 will be a washout. The smart is not a good storm chasing car.

Tallahassee has some Smarts - not exactly a club but they do have get togethers - contact Nicholas and he can help. On the 25th of this month a few from your area are driving over to my area for this.

Thanks Alan! Sent dreuge a private message, an e-mail and the posting in this site. He has the information he needs to contact me if he wants. This will be the fourth yellow Cabrio in our area. One has to wonder with the popularity of the yellow color, why ever did smart drop it???
